Mary
Hello, I’m Mary and I am thrilled to be part of the Bear River Community. I have a B.A. in Anthropology from the University of Mary Washington, and am a graduate of the Potomac Massage Training Institute in Washington D.C. I’ve been a licensed massage therapist for over 20 years, and have spent the bulk of my career practicing in Alexandria. I’m excited to bring my skillset to the Fredericksburg area, which has always felt like home to me.
I’m trained in medical, prenatal, Swedish and hot stone massage, but my specialty is what I call “relaxing deep tissue.” My personal philosophy is that massage does not need to be painful in order to be effective. Oftentimes we don’t realize that the source of our discomfort can be emotional and psychological, as well as physical. My particular specialty is giving a massage that will allow the client to both relax and experience relief from their specific issues. I particularly enjoy working with senior citizens and veterans, and hope to continue my training in lymphatic drainage and oncology massage.

Hi, I am Brittany, LMT!
I got into massage therapy with the goal of helping people relax, but as I continued in my passion, I discovered something even more rewarding. I’ve had the privilege of guiding clients from their first session to the next, helping them understand how their body is meant to feel—reducing pain, restoring mobility, and improving overall well-being. Over time, my love for this work has only grown. I truly enjoy what I do and feel blessed to wake up each day excited to help others.
If I had to choose, medical massage is my favorite, but deep tissue and Swedish are close behind. The ability to relieve pain and stress is an incredible gift, and I look forward to being part of your healing journey!

Clare
Hello! My name is Clare. I have been a Licensed Massage Therapist for about 8 years and attended the Northern Virginia School of Therapeutic Massage in Falls Church VA. I am certified in deep tissue, Swedish, lymphatic drainage, and prenatal massage.
Before beginning my journey as a massage therapist, I saw firsthand the healing benefits of therapeutic massage when my father was recuperating from cervical spine surgery. I knew then that this was a profession in which I’d be able to really help people and give back to the community. Throughout my experience as a massage therapist, I have grown to love getting to know my clients and being able to tailor each session to their individual needs. I’ve had the pleasure of working alongside my mother who was a birth doula which has led me to gravitate more toward working with expecting mothers. I love helping them through the many changes in their pregnancy journey. If you're looking for some quiet in your busy week, some relief from chronic pain, or just need a knot worked out, book with me to relax and unwind. I look forward to getting to know you and helping you to relax and feel like yourself again!
