February Newsletter 2026
Hey everyone.
As I was sitting with what to write this month, I kept coming back to the same feeling.
February tends to bring up a lot for people. For some, love is front and center because of Valentine’s Day. For others, there’s a quiet heaviness, uncertainty, or stress that doesn’t always have a clear name. I know for me, I have to constantly catch myself and realign with what I actually want, not what my mind is defaulting to. Our minds are very good at scanning for problems, for what’s missing, for what feels off. If we’re not aware, that pull can easily turn into a loop of negative thinking that feels hard to get out of.
When I notice myself slipping into that space, I’ve learned that pushing harder usually doesn’t help. What helps most is pausing. Truly pausing. Not trying to fix it, not trying to explain it, not trying to power through it. Just stopping and giving myself permission to do nothing for a moment. No words, no action, no energy spent on the issue. From that pause, clarity tends to come on its own.
February also carries an interesting reminder about love itself. The story of St. Valentine is rooted in courage. He chose love even when it went against what was allowed at the time. It was an act of integrity, not rebellion for rebellion’s sake.
Love, when it’s real, often asks us to move beyond fear. I think that’s true not just in relationships with others, but in how we treat ourselves. Love is powerful, and self love is necessary.
Self love shows up as grace. It’s the ability to recognize when we’ve made a mistake without falling into shame.
As we move through February, my hope is that you give yourself permission to pause, to soften, and to approach your challenges with curiosity instead of pressure. Choosing love over fear or shame.
And if you find you need some help, we're here for you. Our therapists will hold space for you to release stress in your mind and body.
And if you know someone who needs a little break, consider referring us. Our goal is to serve our community/friends one massage at a time.
Big Love to you all,
Linda Osorio LMT, Owner
